you've come a long way baby...

107 days after we opened our doors we got our New York Times review. We've had many reviews from customers in those 107 days, and it takes some getting used to; the instant acclaim or criticism that people can openly express online and in forums. That's a lot of pressure if you let it get to you. Certainly while we have, as any restaurant would, experienced some growing pains overall - we've come a long way from that first service and it's just going to keep getting better.

You can read Joanne Starkey's review here. We're rather chuffed and looking forward to moving into Fall. Chef Greg has some interesting dishes on the back burner, so to speak, and the wine list is evolving to reflect the seasonality of our cuisine.

Tuesdays have become hugely popular with theWINEPROJECT - Dennis just bought a lovely farm table in keeping with our family style gathering of oenophiles and Greg keeps wowing us with food. The fireplace is almost complete and ready for those cozy fall evenings and of course we keep moving forward in this project improving things and staying true to the course.
